Stuart & Jenny

the Carts Bog Inn

Stuart and Jenny Davison took over the Carts Bog Inn in January 2010 and after a major refurbishment reopened on March 26th of the same year.

The Davison family are local to Langley with our farm Lough Green just one mile from The Carts Bog. This has helped contribute to the fantastic local support during our early years both in our bar and restaurant.

We source our food and drink from local suppliers as much as possible, with beef from our own farm Lough Green and other meat from our local butcher W H Stevenson, vegetables from Stafford Hardy, our fish supply comes from North Shields Fish Quay and game from Northumbrian and Border game dealer Burnside Farm Foods. Our real ale is sourced from many local breweries such as Allendale, Wylam and Hadrian Border brewery.

Chef owner Stuart provides an extensive menu with specials changing regularly and is a strong believer in simple well prepared dishes. All our food is homemade from fresh ingredients, our “Bog Pie” has quickly become famous and very popular with our regular customers.
